Anthony C. D’Augustine
Chairman

Retired as senior vice president and general manager of the Digital Infotainment Division at Conexant Systems, Inc in 1999. He was vice president and general manager of the Digital Infotainment Division at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems from April 1997 to December 1998, and served as Vice President of the Graphics/Imaging Business at Brooktree Corporation from October 1995 to April 1997. D’Augustine was the vice president of sales and marketing at Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) prior to joining Brooktree. He has also held senior management positions at Inmos, SMOS Systems, and Texas Instruments. D’Augustine earned a BSEE from Drexel University and an MBA from Rutgers University.

Peter Mok
Director

Co-founder/Managing General Partner of the KLM Capital Group. He is an accomplished corporate banker, investment banker and a venture capitalist in the Silicon Valley and Asia. Peter founded Silicon Valley Bank’s (NASDAQ) successful Pac Rim Group and was responsible for structuring some key technology finance deals. Peter was formerly a Senior Vice President with Transpac Capital where he headed their U.S. technology venture capital investments. Peter is on the boards of several portfolio companies and is a board member of ESST (NASDAQ). He holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, San Jose, and is a 1987 graduate of the University of Washington’s Pacific Coast Banking School.

James A. Cole
Director

Jim Cole has been a General Partner with Windward Ventures since 1998. He is also a General Partner of Spectra Enterprise Associates since 1987, and formerly a Partner with New Enterprise Associates from 1987 through 1997. He was a co-founder (1972) and Executive Vice President of Amplica, Inc., a successful designer and manufacturer of gallium arsenide integrated circuits. Amplica went public in 1981 and was sold to COMSAT Corp. in 1982. Mr Cole was personally involved in the formation of several other successful companies including Spectrian, Vitesse Semiconductor, EEsof, and Nitres. He currently serves as a director of Giga-Tronics, a public company, and several private companies including KOR Electronics, Akatoo and Cap Wireless. Mr. Cole is also a trustee of Mount St. Mary’s Colllege.

William J. Weathers II
Director

Currently the Managing Director of Weathers Asset Management, William (Bill) Weathers has been involved in all major facets of the venture capital industry since 1986. While identifying opportunities, fund raising, consensus building, deal monitoring and finding corrective solutions, he has built a strong network in the venture capital/private equity community. His career has also included commercial banking, turnaround specialist, wireless communication, portfolio management, investment banking, strategic advisory roles and real estate investing. In addition to Syntricity, Weathers has participated in direct investments in Accelerated Networks, (IPO / acquired), Tandem Medical, (private), E2O, (acquired), Occam Networks, (public), Troika Networks, (acquired), Wayport, (acquired), and Myelos Neurosciences, (acquired). He also sourced, placed and negotiated all buy side terms for a Special Limited Partner status for the anchor investor in an underwriting of the Montague Newhall Venture Capital Fund. Weathers has served on the advisory boards of OVP Venture Partners and Northwest Capital Partners, both of Seattle, WA, Windward Ventures of San Diego, CA, New Venture Partners of Baltimore, MD, and Cordova Industrial Technology Fund in Atlanta, GA. Additionally, he maintains relationships with Evergreen Partners and Banyan Capital of Seattle, Vanguard Venture Partners of Palo Alto, CA, Woodside Fund of Woodside, CA, JMI Partners of San Diego, CA, Trellis Partners of Austin, TX, Noro Mosley and Arcapita of Atlanta, New Enterprise Associates, and Bonsal Capital Partners of Baltimore, MD, Alcyon of Basel, Switzerland, GMT Communication Partners of London, England and Veritas Venture Partners of Atlanta, GA and Tel Aviv, Israel among others. Weathers is a native of Atlanta, GA where he lives with his wife Helen Dobbins Weathers.
