Steven Griffith – President and CEO

Steven Griffith, joined Syntricity in 1997 as a co-founder, and was appointed President and CEO effective December 2008. Griffith brings over twenty years of diversified semiconductor industry experience to Syntricity’s management team. Prior to co-founding Syntricity, Griffith held positions at Rockwell Corporation, Brooktree Corporation and Unisys Corporation, where he was closely involved with development of software technologies for semiconductor product and test engineers. In addition to holding a patent at Syntricity for storing, retrieving, and analyzing characterization data, Griffith co-authored “1001 Java Programmer’s Tips” in 1996. Griffith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Clara Leonida – Chief Financial Officer

Clara Leonida was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Syntricity Inc. effective September 2005. Leonida brings over twenty years of senior management experience in finance and accounting to the Syntricity management team. Prior to joining Syntricity, Leonida served as CFO for Z Microsystems, Director of Finance and Medical Economics for FHP Healthcare (acquired by PacifiCare), and other finance positions for Braun Thermoscan, Brooktree, and Applied Micro Circuits Corporation. Leonida is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA in Accounting from the University of West Florida, a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from San Diego State University.

Ron Chaffee – Vice President of Sales

Ron Chaffee joined Syntricity in February 2014. He has more than 30 years of Management and Business experience in the technology industry. Prior to Syntricity, Ron served as CEO and VP of Business Development at Vivato Technologies, UV Sciences, and Symwave, where he was responsible for leading a $12 million Series C capital investment. Before Symwave, he was the Vice President of Engineering for the Broadband Media Products Business Unit at Conexant Systems, where he oversaw more than 400 R&D resources at seven sites around the world (US, China, Israel & Ireland). He was Director of Engineering at Rockwell Semiconductor System after the acquisition of Brooktree Corporation where he held several management and engineering positions. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University.

Tim Lewis – Vice President of Operations

Tim Lewis was appointed Vice President of Operations of Syntricity, Inc. effective January 2010. Lewis brings 20 years of Operations, Electronics Contract Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and IT experience to Syntricity’s management team. Prior to joining Syntricity, Lewis served as Manufacturing Manager and Quality/Manufacturing Engineer for Timline Vista, Inc., where he was a member of the team that brought the Academy Award-winning Tascam MMR-8 Digital Dubber to market. Lewis joined Syntricity in April 2000, where he architected, deployed and managed the dataConductor.com hosted environment, and went on to manage Syntricity’s daily operations. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from University of Phoenix.
